A special feature of DRONEREMOTE is the almost delay-free transmission of the video and control signals. This creates a real live feeling when flying.
For maximum flying fun, you steer the drone as a team of 2 pilots through the race track using split joysticks. As a team, you'll be much faster than if you're flying alone. One lap lasts between 2-5 minutes. In larger teams, the pilot teams always take turns after each lap.
A race director on site will guide you through the event via video conference, explain the technology and provide live commentary on the races. It will also be exciting for the spectators because we have installed additional webcams in the course and stream live images from all drone cameras.
All pilot teams start the race simultaneously from their helipads on command. After clicking the take-off button, the race begins. A light tube on the ground shows the way through the racecourse. Now fly through all the obstacles as flawlessly as possible and decide the race with a precision landing on your helipad. Since your starting point is also your destination, each pilot/team must fly the same distance. Our drone coaches on site will change the batteries and bring your drone back on course if it crashes.
Our drone arena looks like a large construction site. Construction fences, barrier grids, signs, flutter tape and flashing lights everywhere. The entire course is 50 m long and has four left turns, two right turns and several changes in altitude. There are a total of nine different obstacles with varying degrees of difficulty. The gate in the middle has to be flown through in two directions. In addition, there are special effects hidden in the course. All spectators can follow the action live via two additional webcams.
